山桜の樹皮を素材としてており、語源は万葉集の中で、山桜を「かには」と表現したものが「かば」に転化したものと言われています。
茶筒のように日々手に触れるものは手沢により光沢をまし、山桜の独特の艶を保ちます🌸

Kabazaiku (wild cherry bark work)
Kabazaiku is one of Japan's traditional handicrafts.

It is made from the bark of mountain cherry trees, and it is said that the origin of the word "kaba" comes from the expression "kaba" for mountain cherry trees in the Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves), which was then changed to "kaba".
Items that come into daily contact with the hand, such as tea caddies, are made lustrous by hand and retain the unique luster of the mountain cherry tree🌸.
