「ke-shiki」の道具たち
新潟でオーダー家具・日用品を制作する坂爪哲也氏による木工製作所「ke-shiki」。
その卓越した技術と日常に溶け込む美しさを間近に感じていただけるPOP UP STOREを開催いたします。

今回の展示では、坂爪氏の代表作である「オカモチ」を中心に、新作の器も多数ラインナップいたします。
* 自由なカスタマイズを愉しむ「オカモチ」 最大の特徴は、定番のスタッキングトレイ」を蓋として組み合わせられること。中身を保護しながら天面も有効活用でき、お酒の道具やお茶セットをまとめて持ち運ぶなど、使い方が広がります。
* 伝統技法「かんざし」とタモの美 無垢のタモ材のスラリとした木目と、継ぎ目に施された「かんざし」の留め技法。強度と意匠を兼ね備えた、職人ならではの細やかな手仕事が光ります。
* 手の中に温もりを感じる「木の器」 新しく届いたぐい呑みや片口は、木ならではの質感と優しい口当たりが魅力。

＜ke-shiki＞ is a woodworking studio led by Tetsuya Sakazume, who crafts bespoke furniture and daily lifestyle objects in Niigata, Japan. We are delighted to host this POP UP STORE, offering you a close-up look at his exceptional craftsmanship and designs that blend seamlessly into everyday life.
The Collection
This exhibition features Sakazume’s signature ”Okamochi“ (traditional Japanese carry box), alongside a new selection of handcrafted tableware.
* The ”Okamochi“: Customizable Functionality The most distinctive feature of the Okamochi is its compatibility with the signature ”Stacking Trays.“ These trays can be used as lids, allowing you to protect the contents while utilizing the top surface. It offers endless possibilities—from carrying a complete sake set to organizing your favorite tea essentials.
* The Beauty of Ash Wood and ”Kanzashi“ Artistry Crafted from solid Ash wood (Tamo), these pieces showcase a beautiful, sleek grain. A highlight is the ”Kanzashi“ joinery technique—a traditional method where wooden ”pins“ are inserted into joints for both structural strength and aesthetic detail. It is a testament to the artisan‘s meticulous attention to detail.
* Wooden Tableware: Warmth in the Palm of Your Hand Our latest arrivals include Sake cups (Guinomi) and Sake pitchers (Katakuchi). You will be captivated by the unique texture and gentle mouthfeel that only natural wood can provide.
