五月女寛氏が描くのは、長い歳月を経て研ぎ澄まされた自然の一部のような、独特の存在感を放つ造形物です。
* 土の記憶を宿すテクスチャ 白くマットな質感に刻まれた細密なひび割れは、土が乾燥し収縮していく過程の記憶を定着させたもの。無数の線が織りなす表情は、見る者に静かな思索を促します。
* 不完全ゆえの美しさと緊張感 あえて崩したフォルムや裂け目といった「不完全な美」が、空間に心地よい緊張感をもたらします。一輪の花を添えたとき、その造形は植物の生命力をより一層鮮やかに際立たせます。
手に取るたび、置く場所を変えるたび、新たな風景を見せてくれる。
