This October, DEARYOU welcomes Takayasu Paulownia Workshop from Ishioka, Ibaraki Prefecture.
For centuries, paulownia wood has been an essential part of Japanese daily life. Lightweight, naturally soft, and known for its excellent humidity-regulating properties, it is a wood that quietly ”breathes“ with the changing seasons.
This POP UP features handcrafted paulownia pieces, including traditional wooden boxes and beautifully finished coasters. Each item showcases the elegant grain, gentle texture, and warmth that only paulownia can offer.
