正直いえば、
「笑っている場合じゃないな、、、」と思うことばかりだ。

Smiling Vessels by Haruyama

The solo exhibition starts today and will last for two weeks.
The installation and display are finished, and the exhibition starts in earnest today!

Message from Mr. Haruyama (from the second image):

To be honest,
All I can think is
"This is not the time to laugh"

The terrible war in Ukraine, brutal killings in Palestine between Israel, and all over the world. While the rich people enjoy peace and wealth, workers and soldiers are exploited like sales. Excessive burden on the environment and wild animals being unreasonably removed and disappearing....

There are plenty of sources of anxiety and worry everywhere on TV, in newspapers, and on the internet.

I'm sure, I'm not the only one who feels gloomy when faced with these realities.

However, what will change just by thinking with a grim face?
What can save humanity from anxiety and fear?

It's laughter and action.

Each of our samal efforts to create many small SMILEs around us.

A movement to expand each individual's ego area. caring for each other without hesitation and living with a smile on their faces.

if we become defensive, pretending to be serious and shrinking down with grim humanity will not feel safe.

When people feel, enjoy, and accept the ordinary pleasures of every day life, they naturally smile.

The sees of smiles are everywhere.

Through the creation of pottery.
I want to bring smiles to life all over the world. Starting from ordinary dining tables.
